360networks Expands Into California

Wholesale VoIP provider 360networks has expanded its coverage into California.

The Seattle-based provider is adding 238 new rate centers serving Los Angeles, San Diego and areas surrounding those cities.

"Our most recent expansions have covered many of the underserved markets in the western U.S. We will continue to expand into the smaller markets, but we are also very focused on expanding into the large metropolitan areas," said Rick Coma, senior vice president of 360networks.

360networks' VoIP360 platform runs on the company's wholly owned, 17,200-mile, fiber-optic backbone.
