Visionael Unveils IPT Platform

Visionael Corp. has unveiled a new product that lets service providers automate the migration from legacy equipment to IP Telephony.

The company’s IPT solution, which has a multivendor architecture, facilitates the entire transformation process from PBX to IP-PBX environments, it said. The announcement was made at the Visionael Advantage partner and customer event in New York City.

The IPT automates manual processes and eliminates repetitive procedures, the company said.

It imports data from legacy PBX, directory service, flat file or IP-PBX and automatically pre-fills templates when setting up the system, and automatically provisions phones and users while deactivating old phones. It works in transitions to hybrid environments with legacy PBXs and softswitches, as well as all-IP networks.
