Cistera Networks Inc. said it is joining Cisco’s Industry Solutions Partner Network (ISPN), and also named a global channel programs manager to focus on the ISPN.
Cistera is now an authorized Cisco ISPN partner for vertical markets including government, education, healthcare, finance and retail. The company said it named Darlene Smith as global channel programs manger to focus on the Cisco ISPN, and other programs designed to increase partner revenue contribution and profitability.
The Cisco ISPN engages, enables and rewards its channel partners, application providers and device manufacturers to jointly deliver industry-specific solutions that address the business needs of customers.
Smith has an extensive background in electronics, having developed her skills in the U.S. Navy, working with various communication networks. Her telecommunications background includes sales management positions for Ericsson and Ericsson Hewlett-Packard.
