SinglePipe Adds Two Cable Customers

05/22/2008

SinglePipe Communications said on Thursday it has landed two new cable customers. CMA Communications has signed up for SinglePipe’s digital phone service while Great Lakes Data Systems (GLDS) is opting for VoIP services billing and provisioning.

CMA is an independent cableco headquartered in Dallas. It will sell digital voice to subscribers in Louisiana, Mississippi, Nevada and Texas. SinglePipe's managed service includes packages for residential customers and SMBs. It includes FCC-compliant 911 and local number portability. CMA will be able to integrate SinglePipe’s Web-based back-office system into its existing operations.

CMA plans to first launch digital voice in Laughlin, Nev.

GLDS does billing, subscriber management and provisioning for cable operators. The firm is integrating SinglePipe’s platform that lets operators control their SinglePipe Digital Voice services from GLDS’s billing system.
