Performance Technologies Debuts Customizable PTMC Board

Performance Technologies Inc., a developer of systems, platforms, components and software, has introduced the IPnexus CPC300 Advanced PTMC Carrier Blade, a board that systems integrators can use to create custom functionality by populating it with various PTMC modules for specific applications.

These modules include telecom I/O cards, DSP cards or packet-processing modules. Developers can then use the CPC300 to create equipment, such as media and signaling gateways, IP media equipment, telecom switching/routing equipment and SS7 network elements.

The CPC300 shares a common architectural design with the company’s CPC324 and CPC308 TDM/IP edge communication processors, which provide fully programmable T1/E1/J1 interfaces and also allow system integrators to combine TDM and IP networks onto a single subsystem.
