Jungo OpenSMB Software Supports Gateway Development

Jungo Software Technologies Inc., a provider of small-gateway software, has introduced OpenSMB, a software platform for the development of SMB gateways.

The new software is for OEMs and ODMs developing business networking devices that combine voice, data and security. OpenSMB is for the creation of networking devices, such as combined voice-data gateways, wireless access points, office-in-a-box devices and security appliances. It includes software, development environment and tools, documentation, training and support, as well as integration with leading reference boards.

The product also includes an embedded Linux distribution, advanced security applications (stateful-packet-inspection firewall, VPN), multiprotocol VoIP signaling (H.323, SIP and MGCP), quality of service, load balancing, URL filtering, antivirus, antispam, and remote and local management.
