Fortress Technologies Launches Wireless Security Controllers

Fortress Technologies has added the FC-X series of security controllers to its product suite.

Among other functionalities, the FC-X processes packets at a high rate, with low latency, which bodes well for large VoIP deployments over wireless networks.

The controllers process throughputs of more than 1.5gpbs, according to Fortress Technologies. The products also are based on custom encryption hardware for security protection.
