Tadiran Announces Coral Sentinel Pro for VoIP Security

Tadiran Telecom announced the Coral Sentinel Pro, a SIP-compliant session border controller that allows Tadiran’s IP/VoIP business telephones to work anywhere in a secure fashion.

“When it comes to security, corporate and government, enterprises today are faced with some very tough decisions that will have major effects on their overall IP implementation strategies, including VoIP,” said Tadiran’s CTO Gil Zaidman. “New voice and video services over the LAN and WAN allow small offices, branches or employees working from home to seamlessly communicate using VoIP technology. Unfortunately, the protocols used to enable these services conflict with two of the most notable network security mechanisms: firewalls and NATs.”
