NeoPhonetics Announces New Remote VoIP Network Readiness Assessment Tool

NeoPhonetics, which creates custom VoIP systems for enterprises, announced the release of a new Remote VoIP Network Readiness Assessment tool from Apparent Networks — AppCritical Remote Network Assessment (RNA). Enabled by NeoPhonetics’ partnership with Polycom Inc., the AppCritical RNA software remotely assesses any network's VoIP readiness in less than three hours.

NeoPhonetics uses AppCritical RNA to pre-qualify customer networks as VoIP-ready; diagnose network issues in integration projects; validate network design and implementation for meeting voice transmission standards; and produce lead generation for large VoIP installation projects. The software enables NeoPhonetics to pinpoint the exact cause and location of issues on the network and address problems quickly, said the company.

The AppCritical RNA sends test packets to any network worldwide to determine network characteristics and voice quality. The system then delivers an easy-to-understand report on basic connectivity, latency and voice traffic issues associated with managing voice packets on a data network. Reports delivered to NeoPhonetics' customers are custom-designed by its engineering personnel to address the specific needs of each customer’s network.
